Charlotte Hu on Brick Lane, London taken by me on Tom’s SX-70.
The Hallerbos is probably the most popular forest in Belgium when Spring arrives. The forest is located near Brussels and is known for the bluebell carpet that covers the floor for a few weeks each spring. Today was my first visit ever to the Hallerbos and it was definitely worth being stuck in a traffic jam for over one hour. All the crap below was snapped with the D700 and edited with some help of the Filmpan PRO presets. Some fresh self portraits that I took last weekend. Taking self portraits is always a chalenge for me because I’m horrible at facial expressions and none of my camera’s feature auto focus. I simply took these behind my desk under the skylight (gloomy day) with my D700 tethered to Lightroom 4. Getting the focus right might be the hardest point when you’re working with and MF lens but you’ll be able to get it spot on when you use the “zone focussing” technique and a smaller aperture.
